Southern Gwinnett Young Life

YoungLife exists to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith. We do that by deploying caring adults from our community into the world of a kid. They show up on their turf and earn the right to be heard. They build authentic bridges of friendship. And once a leader has earned the right to be heard, they tell kids the greatest love story that has ever been told and that is the story of Jesus. We do it this way because we know that a kid doesn't care what you know until they know that you care. YoungLife in Southern Gwinnett has been doing this for decades and the Lord has been faithful. But now, there are more kids in this town than ever before and they are screaming for Jesus, whether they know it or not. Matthew 9:35-38 says that the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few - so we are asking the Lord of the harvest to provide laborers to enter the world of kids and tell them about Jesus.

Volunteer Leaders

Leaders are committed to being involved with kids' lives - from supporting them at their sporting events to listening to them talk about what's important to them. Our leaders help kids consider the direction of their lives, and they offer hope for their future.
